I've owned one Corvette or another since 1977 when I purchased my first, a 1971 LT-1 and I have to admit, I caught the fever. I now have a 1972 LT-1 that I have owned for 27 years and a 2004 Z06/Z16 that I purchased new.

Welcome to CORVETTE ACTION CENTER; we're glad you found us :beer

Far as I'm concern the 72 LT-1 is one of my all time favorites, last year of chrome bumpers front and rear, end of an era or start of a new one :happyanim:nothing short of awesome and I want one:cool!:

Thank you all for the warm welcome. For you LT-1 lovers...My LT-1 has 43,000 miles on it and it is still unrestored and doesn't need it.
Thanks again:cool!:

Let me add another welcome! We're glad to have you here with us, and I agree with the others...great pair of Corvettes! :cool!:

Hello from the 'burg! Is your '72 Steel city grey?

Hello from the 'burg! Is your '72 Steel city grey?

It is supposed to be Steel City Grey, but it got painted Laguna Grey back in the early 70s by the original owner, because it got keyed. It still wears the early 70s paint.

Welcome to CAC.....I have to agree with everyone else, you have a very nice pair of Corvettes. The 72 is a great color. :cool!:

I WANT IT, IS IT FOR SALE?

:)You know, I have people come up to me all the time and ask the very question and my answer is still no, but I 'm starting to think about it.:D

The 72 LT-1 may just be my all time favorite year, last year for the chrome front and rear bumpers, also a BIG part of what made Corvette what it is today, unequalled :cool!: If you did ever decide to sell it more than likely I couldn't afford it, looked for years for one as a project car and there just not around, if I found one at all it was really nice and out of my price range, but I would be open to discussion. Almost getting to old for a project but if one ever came my way I would consider it though ;shrug
