I'm pretty happy with my CTS-V. There are a few quirks like wheel hop if you launch it hard unless you do some updates to the rear suspension. The 2004 and 2005 CTS-V came with the LS6. The 06 and 07 "V" get the LS2. The LS2 has a flatter torgue curve. With the LS6, it's a little flat below 2000 RPM. The "V" will surprise a lot of people as it's a real sleeper!
