- 1993 40th Anniversary Ruby Red Coupe
Bought a 40th Anniversary Ruby Red coupe with not quite 18K miles 4 years ago after I retired. Wife agreed to the purchase only if we joined local Corvette Club which we did- Corvettes of Buffalo. Have had a lot of fun with the car and with club activities. Got to see museum in Bowling Green just before and just after sink hole incident. About cried when I saw the extensive damage to the 40th there. Have had to have distributor and water pump replaced because of moisture in distributor. New tires and battery and I'm trying to replace worn plastic gears in headlight motors. Keys and fob disappeared last week after parking the car in the garage. Local locksmith made new ones. Car can a real pain but it's still a lot of fun to drive.
