Jul 4, 2005 #2 Edmond Well-known member Joined Aug 1, 2001 Messages 5,218 Location Louisiana Corvette 2003 Z06 It's usually a little less than an inch. Once you get both the mufflers lined up, they should pretty much space themselves.

Jul 4, 2005 #4 Edmond Well-known member Joined Aug 1, 2001 Messages 5,218 Location Louisiana Corvette 2003 Z06 If you need something to raise and lower the pipes, use a jack. It works wonders and you can move it in small increments to get it just right.
