I am sure this has been covered but appreciate everyones patience.

I need new mufflers for my '89 l98 Coupe...the ones on there have small holes. The car is stock except for K& N air filter. I plan minimal performance upgrades for now so I do not want to do a complete exhaust system yet. I am considering Magnaflow hi-flow cats and Magnaflow mufflers. My question is will this upgrade give me any noticable change in hp and will it affect low end torque for better or worse? Thanks agains for the help!

Yes, it will give you a noticeable feel in the seat of the pants. The stock exhaust only flowed through one exhaust tip.

If you cut that filter lid wide open, you will get an even bigger gain. You can do it for free with a jigsaw or a grinder.

The low end torque will not be affected in a negative way. You will feel even more low end grunt, trust me. :D

Yes it will. The affect on low end torque will be worse though......

Good choice for a system.
