the motor will be going in! My fingers are crossed for sure.

A few parts snafus here and there but hopefully those will get worked out this week.

whats the pontiac motor for? ( i'm also a pontiac nut )

Thats the husbands motor for the 68 firebird restoration, I am not sure if that is the next car he is going to work on or not. He has a few projects but I know he is anxious for the firebird, that is a frame off restoration.

Thank you!

Well it didn't go in last weekend as the power steering pump had the wrong housing so we had to exchange that. There was also some more parts needing painting and cleaning. Not to mention that the old rear end has to come out and the new one in.

Me thinks by the time it ready to drive it will cost me $100 to fill er up!

well spent 100 bucks

And how long have you been waiting???

I think its been over 18 months since the tranny blew up. That was the last time I drove it. Seems longer. The motor and tranny have been here for over a year now. I had to register my sons Olds the other day so I put the vette on the road at the same time, might as well save a trip.

nice job.... maybe one day my 82 will get a powerplant like that...

Those are two really beautiful engines! :upthumbs

SAVE THE :wThat is called post nasal drip and has the same effect as lemon on fish...... Hi Greg, give me a call on my cell phone. I don't know if I am going to make Cleveland or not this year. I am supposed to have surgery on my knee at the University Hospital here in Cleveland this Thursday. If every thing goes well I could be up and around in a few weeks or months. Right now it is a wait and see how much damage has been done to the Tendons with Steroids. The prognosis looks pretty good, better that last week. The CAC sure has a nice itinerary lined up for you guys. Especially the eatery's. My Grand son is hoping I can make it so he can go the Quaker Steak and Lube, he says it is awesome. And the tours through the parks are just fantastic. If at all possible I will be there, even if Budman has to Chauffeur me.....Scott

My husbands answer to that question is "More than I can handle!" LOL...

He thinks around 435hp with the other modifications. I hope I am not afraid to drive the thing!
