Hello, All.

New poster, but perusing and enjoying this Vette forum for awhile.

Just my luck, as I'm in the hunt for new rubber: the GY Eagle F1 GS-D3
non-EMTs, in C5 sizes, have dried up in terms of availabilty.

Anyone have any luck actually getting a set lately?

I want to do the non RFT move and I was really convinced on the
GYs, but the normal channels give long to vague delivery times.

Warm beer and cold women...I shoulda been shopping "last week".

I look forward to adding something to this board besides a whiny
wonderment...:D
Best Regards,
David

First did you know quicksilver was one of the fastest colors produced for corvettes ? Second I think theres some tire vendors listed on this site .Third ,if you have no luck call Tire Warehouse 207 7257020 ask for Marty. Tell him you know Steve Martin. If there available in the Northeast he'll be able to get 'em.Might be a little freight but not bad. Good luck

Hi David and welcome to the Corvette Action Center.

Here's a link to the CAC Pro shop tire and wheel section. I don't know if it will help you find what you're looking for but it's worth a shot.

David, welcome to the CAC.

I'm sorry to hear the tires are in short supply- I have them on my vette and I like them.

Good luck.

Thanks for the welcome and opins!

I had already tried all the usual suspects: TR, TD, et al.
I even called the suggestion here; no luck.

Some places have the oem sized fronts in stock, but
nobody has the rears and/or a full set.

Lots of current generation GY F1 GS-D3 EMT/RunFlat species
available, but no non-run flat versions.

Several Joints reported that GY shows a production run "this week"
with deliveries starting in late March or early April, fwiw.

I'm not desperate, but the fronts are pretty thin; I brought the Vert
to FL with us this season knowing there was a better selection of
Vette oriented places to get some maint. items "done" and a set
of tires swapped out at careful place, compared to our sparse
capabilities back in HillbillyHeaven at our summer house.

But, the best laid plans...
Thanks again.
Best Regards,
David

Remo,
Thanks for the link; I have perused all the other brands
avail. in C5 non run flat sizes. I'm still quite interested in the
GY F1 GS-D3s. I feel that getting new dubs on every
5 years allows one to go after the tire they really want.

I'm willing to wait until early April, here in FL, or early
May when we are back on the Mtn in NC.

I got 2 front ones in OKC but they had to order them, with the Good Year strike they're scarce!

I've found a few joints with fronts, but no rears...the TR & DT guys both told
me that GY plans to "resume manufacturing of that tire type, both front &
rear, in the coming week(s), fwiw.
