New (to me) C5

The C5 is a 1999 with 20K miles on it, 6 speed, Z51, standard 3.42 rear axle ratio, dual zone AC, memory package and the standard Bose stereo. Its a very clean and well maintained car. It was a corparate lease return. I am replacing the tires with Firestone Sz50s.

I also started a Simple C5s mods page on webshots.

The C4 - Well, it was an automatic and much easier to drive in the constant traffic i live in. Running a constant 13.4 it was fast enough. There is also more room in the C4 for me, I like to drive with my left ankle on my right knee, i cant cross my legs in the C5, but there is way more room for your feet. The C4 was very uncomplicated compared to the C5. I guess i just miss the C4 also because it was my first Vette and we have been through a lot.

My 1995 C4 was deliverd (Have the origional bill of sale) to the first owner on the day i got married in 1995. It was also the gift to myself for surviving the attack on 9-11. It was a mistake to trade it in. I should have looked for a place to keep it.

Your buyer's remorse is expected, Warren, as your car was family. Keep an open mind my friend. You still drive a vette; only nice people drive a vette. Count your blessings.
