New to Vettes and new to forum

Basket case, only 47K miles on it
Spent alot of money on it to only drive it 22 miles

I have only driven it 22 miles because of all the problems with it. It's a basket case. I replaced the right window (broken out when the stero was stolen). Distributor went TU and installed a new MSD Distributor and Taylor Spiral Bound wires. Found bad injectors on 2,4,6, and 8 cyl and they were delivered to my house today(8 Bosch III's). All of the electrical was screwed up by previous owner when stero installed. I had to replace the incandescent power driver, all the light bulbs in the interior, and try to put the right door panel back on. The radio will have to be replaced, radio bezel on order, the top was damaged beyond repair and I got a nearly new one from somone on this forum. I have all of the new rubber seals to replace, my friend found them at a car show up in PA and brought them back to Fl for me. So you see, I have already spent a bunch of $$. Burt

I knew it was a basket case when I bought it, but still some suprises. I have been working on cars since I was 13 and I am 62 now. Atleast I will know what has been done and what hasn't. I am looking forward to alot of help from forum members. This is my First Vette!

Thanks for the kind words! I do have a lot of work to do on the vette before I can show it off. Jane: I'll post the GMC soon. That's an almost completed project. Need air and wiring harness before I can say it is almost finished. Looking forward to many years on this forum.
