Those are cool looking with the blue. Good idea to stay stock. I guess it won't be long till I see them live and in person.

Resisted the urge to go A-Mold on mine. Sawblades are fine for me, and are getting to be a rare look on a late C4! Wonder how they would look chromed out and blingin'. You better get some polish and good diapers. For the wheels.

BTW I think that one goes on the other side..........:confused

Jeff's sawblades are chromed and from the same vendor. You'll see them as well on the 5th Tim...

Here, they charge $2.00 per tire. You can keep the tires if you want and there is no charge.

So what does the core charge work out to percentage-wise? Those rims are very much in demand by the pre-88 guys, wonder if they would be worth more separately or if you have to give your old ones in as a core?

The core charge is $600.00 but you can buy them outright for $1400.00 I think. Shipping (round trip) was 185.00 so the core makes the cost a little under half.

Same wheels as RJS. 88 and 89 are identical. The 90 changed to no centercap with the lignuts exposed.
I hate to say this RJ but I'm in shorts and a t-shirt detailing the vette right now....

Mine are on backwards for some reason...

They are a left/right pair. The side is stamped on the inside of the wheel. Front to rear don't matter but right to left does. The best I can determine is that they help in brake cooling when installed correctly.

I should have taken your advice in the first place, but in the end I did purchase Eagle F1 GS-D3 @ Tirerack.

Two local shops said that they sold the F1s but not in my Vette's size, they would have to special order them and I wouldn't get the discounted prices; so I called around some speed shops and found one who specializes on aloy wheels.

I did have issues with the installer though, he put 2 of the tires on backwards but I saved enough money to buy a aluminum wagon jack.
