1996 Collector Edition LT4 and 1994 white convert.
Hello everyone, I am the proud owner of 2 C4 Corvettes. The first one I bought is a 1996 Collector Edition LT4 coupe with only 29k on the speedo. This car is in outstanding condition and all original. I didn't want to rack up a lot of miles on her, so I went and found a 1994 Arctic White convertible with a black top and interior. It has 80k on the speedo and a new top but needs a little tlc.(of which I'm in the process of doing). I am a huge fan of the C4 model Corvette but I feel that they are the red headed stepchild of the Corvette world and don't get a lot of respect.
Well, thanks for reading my story and I look foward to getting some great info from this site.

Welcome to the CAC; we have many C4 owners and lovers of the model. I had two, and I really loved my 1994 red on red on red convertible (red exterior, interior, hard top). You will love the CAC and the advice and information available. We have one particular C4 member, LT4man, who has the 1996 CE silver with red interior who can help you with any problems.
Again, welcome.

Welcome to the Corvette Action Center!

I've always seemed to find just the opposite in respect and interest in the C4. At least among those I've talked with. :thumb

Anyway - your stable sounds impressive and we'll look forward to seeing pix of your Vettes.

Welcome to the forum C4_Lover. :w Enjoy your 2 Corvettes.

Hi and welcome to CAC C4 Lover.

I am rather new here also, But I think what you are refering to is a age thing. of course thats my opinion. I grew up with the C3 Vettes and have always loved the C3, I was just out of high school when the C4 came out. The C4 is a nice Vette, But to me and prob many others in my age range the C4 never really got is just due. To me it looked really similar to the Firebirds and camaros of the era. It just did not shout CORVETTE. the C3 has always stood out and could never be mistaken for any other car.

But like I said that is my opinion, over the last few years the C4 has gained more of my respect. But like I said my whole time growing up there was one corvette body style, then the Corvette changed. I and others do not accept that change very well.

But welcome and enjoy those Vettes! There is nothing better to drive.

Mike.
