LT4 Newbie w/ Black LT4 !

Hello... just got my Black LT4 with 21k on it and I am @#$#@! happy as hell!
I found this site and I figured this is a great place to learn more about my ride
and get some pointers. Anyway, looking forward to finding out what it's like to own an awesome car like this By the way...I had them put on the Chrome ZR1 wheels and new Pirelli tread and it looks.....SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just picked it up from Cn'v Corvettes in Tempe Az last night. They detailed it, serviced it and put on the wheels and tires. I went ahead and got the 5yr-50k warranty which for 25.00 a mo. is money well spent. The car is awesome and the wheels really make the car. Taking pics this weekend and will post for ya to see. Thx for the reply..

Jefnlsa, Does Pete still own Cn'V Corvettes? He used to own a few places. Great fun with your toy.

The car you describe is exactly what I had set out looking for when I bought my vette. I very much wanted black, but I ended up finding a silver Collector's Edition and fell in love with it. So that's what I ended up with.

Black is beautiful. And I've decided I love the CE's particular color scheme, too.

More than any other car I've seen, corvettes do form a community. It's a very different experience owning this car... both because of the car itself and the social aspects. It's really quite a phenominon, and you quickly come to understand why it's been around for 50 years where most car models don't even last 5. It's hard to not smile when you're driving the thing around.

chevyaddict: I don't post a picture of myself cuz I ain't no supermodel, unlike yourself. *wink* And my avatar _is_ a picture of my ride. A 1/10th scale gas powered RC Corvette... it has a 2 speed transmission, and it does 0-60mph in a little over 2 seconds or so (but that's about it's top speed). I race both my big vette and my little vette.

Welcome to the gang! I have a Black LT4 convertible with black interior and black top. Great looks and ride. I have a question for you. You mentioned putting on ZR-1 wheels. Does your car have the LTPWS? If yes, do your new wheels have the LTPWS sensors installed? If the car has the LTPWS and you have no sensors in your ZR-1 wheels, are you getting a warning light on the dash for "service LTPWS"?
