ASC Motorsports Announces Driver Lineup for the Glen

Tiffin, Oh - June 5, 2005 Watkins Glen International, the famed 11-turn, 2.45 mile road course in the Finger Lakes region of New York, has seen nearly every form of racing from Formula 1 to Nextel Cup stock cars. On Sunday, June 12th, the Glen hosts a 6-hour endurance race for the Rolex Grand American Sports Car Series.

ASC Motorsports recently announced the team's driver lineup for the Sahlen's Six Hours of the Glen. Jason Workman of Atlanta, Georgia will again team with owner/driver Zach Arnold of Tiffin, Ohio for the endurance race. In addition, Johnny Miller from Johnson City, Tennessee has agreed to join the team at the Glen.

Miller is an experienced sportscar driver and road course driving instructor who achieved outstanding results in the Trans Am series in cars that were similar to the ASC Motorsports Corvette. Miller made his Trans Am debut at the Mid-Ohio round in 1994 and finished in the top 4 in points in 2001, 2002 and 2003 when he had a win and eight top-five finishes in 10 races on his way to second place in the season championship. Miller has also competed in NASCAR Nextel Cup at Sears Point and at Watkins Glen. In 2003, driving the Kodak Easy Share Pontiac at the Glen, he was running as high as 4th before a mechanical failure took him out of contention.

Arnold Machine, Inc. of Tiffin, Ohio, which designed and built the race car and has begun building customer cars, used the time between races to continue making improvements to the Prep 2 Corvette C5R. The entire ASC Motorsports team looks forward to a good showing at the Glen.

The Sahlen's Six Hours of the Glen will be televised live June 12th on SPEED Channel in two segments at 10:00 AM (EDT) and continuing at 12:30 PM.

ASC Motorsports will be sponsored in the Sahlen's Six Hours of the Glen by Arnold Machine, Inc. (AMI), by Automobilsport.com, and by Arai Helmets.
