No Disc Loaded readout on Nav/single disc player. 2006 Vette

2006 Corvette, Nav with single disc player. All of a sudden getting “no disc loaded” readout when I insert a CD. Does it with burned CDs and store bought CDs. Any “fix“ ideas, suggestions without having to remove the darn thing? Thanks.
