Question: No Power? LT4

Took the car out, turned it off, then tried to start & absolutely no starter sound, total electrical blackout. Open & shut door, nothing. Then turned steering wheel & "played" with ignition & bingo, chimes came on, dash lit up & like nothing was wrong..car started.

I'm thinking something to do with security & maybe hit a "sweet spot."

Any ideas? Thanks :ugh

For your situation, there's TOO MANY things to consider.

'Total electrical blackout' needs definition however.

So nothing happened when you turned the key, but BEFORE you turned the key, did you have TEB then? No dash guage lights? Like the SES light? Battery symbol? SIS Airbag system light? Anything?

I'm thinking you have a bad ground or B+ connection Dude~!!
Check your battery cable connections,B+ connections at the Maxi Fuse blocks and chassis grounds!

Dash was absolutely dark, everywhere, as if there was no battery. Working fine now, though. But it's like waiting for the other shoe to fall.

Cable connections are solid, but will check the other stuff. Running good now, go figure.
