Hi,

When I make a right-hand turn with a little power on, I hear a definite clunk, metal to metal. I can't figure out what it is. I don't feel it, I just hear it, any suggestions where to look or start looking or testing and how? Perhaps a picture by means of illustration? Thanks in advance.

do you see any rubbing on the inner fender well? i have 17 inch 1988 factory rims on my 86 which had 16inch rims, well the offer set is diff from those years. well the guy never put wheel adapters in so i am getting rubbing on my inner fender wells.

Any 'feel' associated with the clunk through the steering wheel?

Is this when the car is cold or anytime?

Does it happen just as the wheel is turned or when?

Can you lift the car and try to move things; see if there is any end play? :w

Moving things learnt me nothing, I don't feel anything when steering. Next week I'll or the car will be on a bridge....
