I notice you live in Ft Lauderdale. Do you ever get out to the Tower Shops' cruise in on Friday nites?
There is always a large gathering of cars (between 400 to 500) and a bunch of beautiful vettes.

I haven't been to the Tower Shops' cruise night for awhile. I'm usually busy gaming at my game store just down the road on 441 & 51st (Dragon's Lair Games). Which explains the "stuff" I'm usually hauling around: boxes and other containers of games and game-related materials. Besides, the area is not the safest to leave a "please-cut-my-top" convertible sitting around.

I've been going there for about five years now, first with my '99 silver/black roadster and then with my current cars.
I know a lot of the guys there. The cars are never really unattended, but I've never heard of anyone's car being vandalized. All good experiences here.

I've met some really nice folks there and we get together for lunch cruises on week-ends. (usually Sundays).

Stop by sometime....

Ah, you misunderstand me. The area around my store may not be kind to my convertible top, not the Tower Shops parking lot area.

It isn't too bad around the store and no incidents have happened besides the usual teen vs teen stuff, but I do worry a little in the late nights that I'm sometimes there. I just make sure nothing is visible inside the car that could be easily taken.

I'm more worried about revenge against the store and us owners (I have a partner). It seems someone is spreading viscious rumors about the store among the gaming community; probably some disgruntled customer because we wouldn't give him preferential treatment and discounts (yes, I have my suspicions on who it is).

I live on the East coast too. I also put the top down and had the same feeling. Oh, yea!

As long as it's above 50 my top is down and add a sweatshirt.
