so im a building inspector and i do a ton of driving but for the past 2 years ive had company cars (which is nice because it allows me to keep miles off my vet) in a few days im loosing my 2007 jeep wrangler 4door (due to compnay cutbacks) my boss is selling me his 2005 chevy colorado z71 crewcab 4x4, for $2500. its always been dealer maintained and never beatin, i am a alittle leery because its an 05 with 150k but again im getting it wayyy under book value even with the miles. the local chevy dealer has all records for the truck. i was just wondering if anyone on here has one and if there good trucks? its the 5 cylinder btw..

I had an 05' Colorado for a few years and traded it in for a H3. I loved everything about the Colorado except it was an extended cab, and I did not like the interior quality. So I bought the SUV version!

Check the records to see if the head has been replaced... they had issues with the first Atlas engines. You will like it, mine was a good truck and I love my H3.

I've got an '08 I bought new and I love it!! The 5 cylinder has plenty of power and remains relativly economical. Mine is an extended cab with the leather buckets up front. There is a Colorado/Canyon forum similar to this one if you're interested in some reading.
