Welcome to the Corvette Forums at the Corvette Action Center!

Now for the Questions! LOL

bobmanx my '67 is similar to your. Conv, orig. 300HP and no other power stuff. It does have a hdtp. I bought it from the orig. owner in '73 and have tweeked it with personal changes over the years, just bolt on stuff. If you want the full story and see it, go to Corvettemagazine.com, Our archives, feature articles, featured cars, #82. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. ;)

Bob... you have a 4 bolt bowl

Vig!

Vig, I hope you mean that there are two bowls, with four screws on each float bowl?
Bob

Yes that is what I ment

Phew.. boy I must be tired... wrenching on THIS all day ...again... ( and 1 & 2 & feel the burn)

Vig, but now for the important question, IS the boat ready for show? You need the room for your new project! I'm positive there is two bowls, but damned if I can recall how many screws on each. Its hell getting old when you cant remember how many screws there were!

Oldsmobile!! :cool

Olds MO pile

The boat is good enough for show.. HECK I'm only asking $2500.00 and that INCLUDES a 440 Jet ski ( which is not ready for show)..

So after a rousing dinner.. I think it's time to hit the hay.. and get ready for another exciting adventure of

FIBER GLASS WRENCH HEAD MAN~

( oh and Bob.. you have 2 bowls.. 4 screws per bowl that would make 8 screws)

And if ya cant remeber 8 screws... give me the car..cuz I'm puttin ya out to pasture!

Vig!

I cant wait for the next exciting episode of "Fiber Glass Wrench Head Man". LOL

And Vig, I was just testing you, trying to make sure that your ready for the boat show! You also spoke the truth about "anything Fiberglass is like a hole to throw money into", my Meyers Manx is never satisfied, even when the checkbook is running on empty! It must have something to do with the resin fumes!
Thanks for the multiplication lesson.
Bob
