Numbers help

I need some help with some numbers for a 79 Vette, the stamp pad on the motor is VO703ZAH, and the block casting in the rear is 14016379, I found the block casting number in a book, but not the stamp pad number. The transmission number is 16D530187, auto 350, is this the original tranny for a 79, It looks like it has been redone, but I don't have any way to find tranny numbers

Can't help on the tranny #s, but your pad stamp ZAH translates to '79 Corvette w/350-195 HP (L-48) with TH350 trans. The casting # 14016379 was used in late production cars. Your engine assembly date (703) is July 3.

MidShark, thanks for the help, where could I find tranny numbers, or any refrences online to identify it?

The tranny was originally installed in a '76 Caprice built at the Doraville, Georgia assembly plant.
