OBD II scanner

I am looking into purchasing an OBD II scanner. One I have found sounds pretty interesting. It works with the Palm OS, and I already have a color palm pilot. Has anyone used it? I use one from Ease diagnostics on a laptop. I don't see a need to use a PalmTop for this application.
