oil additives

Hi, Could someone let me know the take on oil additives such as Lucas, for addressing valve seals leaking down and also in regard to turbo charged engines.? Thank you.....Roger.

The Local NAPA ownner turned me on to Off Road Only Valveoline Racing OIL it has the Zinc still in it.
It $5.00 a Qt.

You can get though Jegs or Sumit Some Auto shops have it but they keep it in back it a (Race Only oil).

And you can use Engine (Cam Break In addtivies also) have Zinc in it.

Good for flat tappet Cams and liffters and coats the parts better.

I read High mileage oil good for seals ect but like most of the new type of oil don't have Zinc in it anymore.

The manufactures do claim the new type oil have something in it that works with flat tappet type cams and liffters But I have read it not as good you have a much higher risk of flatting you'r cam with the new type of oil.
