oil change light

for my 1990 my oil light change won't reset it just stays on even though the oil has been changed several times anyone know what might be the problem and to as how I can reset it.

i tried that a numerous amount of times and its still doesnt go off its still on

OK try this!! Turn car on but don't start,PUSH the gas peddle to the floor 3 times and see if it resets!!

Did you try disconnecting the battery for 30 seconds? I think the diag mode for the CCM pulses this light. I recall that from my 93, I don't know about the 90? I would try that and see if you get an error.
