Oil Drain Bolt size?

Anyone know the size bolt used in a Big Block oil pan? I need to tap out my old pan as Corvette Central can't seem to send me a pan that will fit on my car.

If your threads are stripped in the pan, you might want to pull the pan and weld a new nut on the inside so the drain bolt will have something to grip on. This may be too much trouble to do.

Oil drain plug threads are 1/2"-20.

Thanks! Pan is already off the car... just going to tap it out to the next size... nut is on good, so I'm not going to take it off... espcially since I don't have a welder and could never get it back on!
