what is the best oil filter for a 2000 corvette excludind the original from GM

I use Mobil 1 filters and i change both @50-60 %

I buy the upf44 from fichtner chevrolet. 6 or more gets you a price break. For me, that's 3 years worth!

I use the Mobil 1 filter, mainly because the filter paper is specifically designed for synthetic oil.

Than I wonder why he doesn't just go with what is obviuosly a very high quality filter.
