Using your own personal oil at dealership oil change
-----My wife came up with this idea and I think it is a good one -- take a cheap old styrofoam cooler with you. Ask for all the empty cans to be placed in there - use any excuse you want if your antsy about offending anyone. I also use Mobile 1 oil filters which are spendy. I put notches on the filters so I can tell if the filter has been changed or not.
-----I do these ridiculous things because I originally suspected scams were going on and then I caught a dealership doing a scam on me. I am not savy about cars and therefore I am an easy target. I do what I can to protect myself.
