Greetings CAC! It has been a while since my last post. I wish I could say I was busy enjoying my car, but that has not been the case due to job and family responsibilities!

Anyhow.... to the point of my post: Had my '08 Z in for service a few weeks back. The service dept. showed me I have an oil pan gasket seep. This was the first I had heard of the issue, but seems (after some chatter locally) to be a somewhat wide spread issue with the LS7. My issue has yet to produce any significant leakage... it is just barely noticeable as staining around the flange of the bottom cover, no drips on my floor or blow back under the car.

I understand this to be a front cradle out service... @ $1350 (including alignment after) which I'd prefer to avoid as long as possible. When should I be concerned? I might drive the car 500-750 miles a year.

Thanks! Dave

They All seep a little, Probly nutt'n to be too concerned about.

Yea, mine seeps some. I use Brakleen and spray off the oil pan (clear up to the block) and wipe it down when I change oil to keep it clean.

Thanks gents! I'll let the seep ride until I see oil on the floor! (y)
