2003 50th Annversary Red coupe, beautiful !
Whats your oil pressure when sitting at a red light and the car is in drive A/C on and it's 85 degrees outside? and what is the same at 50MPH ? I'm just wondering about mine in my 2003, seems like it used to be slightly higher, it's at 28 at idle in drive, A/C on and @85 degrees and it shoots up to 40-50psi at high speed. Just wondering if my oil pressure sending unit is getting ready to quit ? The car sits for some long periods without being run. But it's low milage 13K on the clock.

Mine seems to have changed from last year, I'm thinking the sending unit is getting ready to die ?:ugh
There isn't a thing wrong with your car!! You only need about 10 lb per 1000 rpms!! Mines a 6 sp,but it carries 26-30 idle Hot with the AC on and about 45-50 at highway speed!!Mine was a Little better New, But Not much!!:thumb:thumb:thumb

Thank You junkie, I can rest assured now that I have your opinion. You are the man. I really respect the often simple answers you can give to sometimes complex issues. I guess being raised on a farm and working with your dad has given you a excellant view on atomobiles and corvettes in particular. Thanks again !:beer

MIne runs about the same.

My AC just quit working yesterday out of the clear blue, I am hoping it blew a fuse. I hadn't been using it, running with the windows down, stopped by the car wash just to rinse it off and while blowing the water off on the road I hit the auto AC to cool off while I had the windows up and everything on the dash switched/worked and etc. but no AC not even the fan, would you think it would be the fuse ;shrug and where do I look, is it under the passenger kick panel?

Thanks,
Bill :w
