Oil Pressure Question

My Oil Pressure Gauge is reading max on both the digital and analog reading. Based on previous posts this is caused by the sender? I don’t have a shop manual and I haven’t checked but does anyone know were this sensor is located? Is it by the oil filter? Any special precautions I should know before I change it? Thanks..

HI there,
IT is located behind the intake manifold, and you will have to remove this in order to get to it. Just remember to replace the intake manifold gaskets when you remove the intake.
You will need loctite 242, and a inch lbs torque wrench.
The spec is 106 inch lbs. for all intake manifold bolts.
