Will a TPI car still run if the oil pressure switch is not plugged in? I have the oil pressure sensor hooked up but not the oil pressure swich. It cuts the fuel pump I think. My pressure switch is a 3 prong and the plug is a 2 prong. Can i jump a wire accrosss the plug?

thanx

update: if i jump a wire across the pressure switch plug the fuel pump runs. So that doesn't help.

It will run fine but you have no pump backup if the pump relay fails which is the reason for ther OP switch

Sure can
but the pump will run full time because jumpering the OP switch puts 12V direct to the pump
When connected properly ,OP switch closes when engine has oil pressure so when OP drops with engine off , pump stops
