oil pump removal on C3

Hello everyone! Got a question.... can't remember if by simply lowering idler arm I have enough clearence for oil pan removal in order to remove an oil pump on a C3 350, or do I have to disassemble entire steering assembly? Thanks Can't find my service manual and too many Ta kill yas:L is blocking my memory of how I use to do this repair.

drop the power steering assist ram

drop the idler arm and relay rod

drop the pan

change the pump.

duck soup.
