oil temp says zero

We need help. In our 94 both the oil temp guage and digital display say the oil temp is zero.

Do I need a new sensor or sender? Or maybe both???

Also, does anyone know the part numbers?

We appreciate any information you may have.

Might just a bad connection at the sensor!!
My 94's didn't work when I got it,and it was the connection!!
I unplugged and cleaned it with contact cleaner and plugged it in and unplugged it a couple times and it started working!
