OK a crazy question? HUD and convertibles

My 1993 Pontiac Grand Prix has HUD!

GM has certainly led the way of technology.

Mine works great except for bright sunlight. Appears (no pun intended) they have licked that problem on the Vette!

You get so used to something, you wonder how you got along without it in the first place! :L

I bought my GP in 96. I have been using the HUD since then! :upthumbs

SAVE THE :w

I am spoiled as my Z06 has the HUD and I had never looked at a convertible, just figured with the top down, the HUD might be hard to see, so maybe GM did not put it in the convertible. But from the result posted here the convertibles do have HUD, so when I start looking it will be a must have option.

Thanks to all who posted
I don't know how it is in a coup, but there are times in the convertible when the sun is positioned right that you cannot see the HUD, even when it is on max brightness. Still, it is better than no HUD.

HUD ........ wasn't that the name of a movie of an American Indian played by Paul Newman ????? ......Thats right a Blue eyed Indian named HUD:chuckle

My 2000 has the HUD and I love it. I wish I had it on all the car we own. :)
