A decent amount of exhaust is coming out, but it's not staying on long enough to really produce a ton.

I did try the re-learn trick, and it didn't change anything. I just tried it unplugging the 2 lines at the plenium. and it started harder, but again didn't stay running. Now with the EGR... I have none. I mean I do, but it's gutted with no internals. It's been like that for the last year or so before the fire. Never had any probs w/ the car before because of this. You think that maybe now since the computer has probably reset due to the car not running for so long that the car is recognizing it as fouled?? Trust me Vig, If I can get her to idle I WILL take it around the block w/ goggles and take a pic or 2 for ya!:L

Thanks for the link Silver, I'll check that site out!!

The computer ( ECM)

Will be reset....since it sat so long and you had that 1 wire off.

Do you have a bud with a scanner?

AND

Find the TPS adjustment procedure.. so we may elimate this.

The more run time, the better.

Is gas getting to the throttle body?????
Are filters in good shape???
Did you install a pressure regulator????
So many things to check....you've probably done them all....

Next trick

Get a fuel pressure gauge.. we need to see what the static pressure in the lines are @ Idle ( $40-50 bucks ) the gauge will thread on a schrader valve on the intake. ( Mid America has one, if you cannot buy it locally)

35-42 PSI is the spread.

Any less.. replace the fuel filter first.. then the regulator.

If that doesn't get it...one of your injectors is leaking BAD, we would have to try a static test.

Oh and Old Ace.. it's an 88.. we do not have throttle bodies on ours..like yours.

Dude.. what's the news

Any progress?
