Autograph Story

When I was a kid, we were at the the track and a friend of my Dad's points at a distinguished looking gentleman and says that's Johnnie Parsons go get his autograph. The gentleman graciously complies. I return to my dad's friend and we look at the autograph. It says Duane Carter.

I was a great Art Pollard fan. You don't see too many pictures of him in this car at Indianapolis that year.

I believe that's Art Pollard (leading) on his way to winning the 1969 Dover Indy car race in a stock block Plymouth powered car.

Indianapolis 1987 - Pancho Carter

Pancho was fine and later qualified for the 1987 Indianapolis race.
