I just saw a new car carrier today with 03 Cadillacs and Corvettes on it. :cry

CFour,is there something different about the 2003 corvette.i thought it was the same?except the hood.im not sure what caddy your refering to.i will pass on the c6,i would love an XLR for my daily driver, then i could make my C5 just barely streetable.:t only thing stopping me is the funds:eyerole maybe in a couple years.later,Todd.

hello again,
i think i fiqured out what your thinking by reading a couple of your posts, your not a big fan of the two cars together like that?
later,Todd.

Guess we'll just have to get used to seeing Caddys and Vettes on the same car hauler. They're being built in the same plant so GM is going to ship them together and save money.

That does sound logical.

I look at it like this:

The C5 chassis was as innovative and as big of an improvement over my C4, as the C2 Chassis was over the C1. Like the C2 chassis, the C5 chassis (with few changes) will be under a second generation of Corvettes. This chassis has been so remarkable that in order for Cadillac to attain immediate credability as a world class vehicle again, the XLR is riding the coat-tails of the acclaimed C5 chassis. Some minor changes to the C5 chassis were required to share the chassis and in return, the vette will get some Cad-engineered nicities that would not otherwise have been in the develpoment budget.

Maybe I'm just an uncurable optimist, but that's how I see it. I don't care if they put Cavaliers on the carrier with the vette as long as the C6 has 425+HP and weighs 100lbs less than the C5 Coupe - and has little or no price increase!
