Quick question,

I know that lots of people have replaced the stock 1982 fuel pump with a 1985 fuel pump, but has anyone replaced theirs with something else?

What about this one? Holley Performance Products 255 LPH Forced Induction Camaro/Firebird/Buick GN 12-914

It flows the following: 255 LPH Feeds up to 750 HP at 60 psi

Seems like enough, but I am not sure. It is the one that is installed in my car. I am going to do a fuel pressure check between the two throttle bodies, but does anyone have an estimate off the top of their head as to how much the '85 fuel pump flows?

Does it matter when your running a crossfire set up? Most of the fuel is returned to the tank. CFIs have an air flow restriction not a fuel restriction, so save some money & get a regular 85tpi style pump. Another thing is if you have an adjustable fuel pressure reg. & you over adjust it, you'll go from around 18psi to 40-60 psi, as you bottom out the spring. Not good.

There ain't a crossfire alive that would warrant that kind of flow. If its even a mildly modified xfire a stock L98 pump will be fine. I used a LT4 pump in mine.
