.....pitiful. Stupid displays like this hurt us all via insurance rates, public perception and legislative efforts to reign-in what we can buy.

No doubt, I am sure Ted Kennedy and Hilary would love to "protect us" from these dangerous machines with a simple little ban on HP over 150. Not only does it get these horrible cars off the road it gives uncle sam another opportunity to tell Detroit how to run their auto industry. I can remember when in the 1970's "free market place" GM had such a big market share the Feds threatened to break them up if they didn't let others play. Now that they are struggling the feds tell them to make relevant cars. Oh and by the way, they need to run on air, get 100miles per liter and make create no exhaust. Man I wish the Gov. could run all our bussinesses likr they do in Russia.
