We just picked up the '02 from the graphic artist who had it for 2 days, applying red/white striped waving banners with sprinking of blue stars across both doors!! We were excited, yet a bit apprehensive, about having this done, but we both agree that it looks great. May not be everyone's cup of tea, but we're very happy and feel this car is perfect for following a patriotic theme. I'll post some pictures as soon as I can.

We're bringing this car to Carlisle so I know some of you will be able to see it there!

Elaine,
I will be more than happy to take some digital pictures for you at tomorrow's show in Danbury and email them to you when I get home. OK?

It's beautiful!

Elaine, tell Alan that it looks awesome and VERY tastefully done!
Looks like a perfect parade vette.

Very nice! I would be terrified to do anything like that to my car! That's excellent work and as mentioned earlier, tastefully done! Congrats!

Kenny,

Thanks! And, yes, we were a bit terrified to do it. However, it's not painted...it's vinyl graphics which are removable!!! It's only as permanent as we want it to be.

Elaine

Vinyl graphics??? Wow....that looks like paint! They did an excellent job! I thought about getting black, "GS-style" slash marks on my left-front fender but I didn't know how it would affect resale. That's a good idea........I might look into that.....

It looks beautiful!!!

The've come such a long way with vinyl. And the best part is, like you said, removeable.

Excellent and tasteful.

See you at Carlisle.

Stars & Strips Forever

Elaine,

The C5 looks wild - definetly fits the overall theme of the the car. 82-Guy and I will give you and Alan a salute as you drive in Gate 3. See you two on Thursday afternoon.
