I'm having an issue with door mirrors that I can't figure out for the life of me. I get in the car, start it, put it in reverse and only sometimes, the mirrors lower to look down at the pavement. They don't go back up on their own but will go to the correct position if I put the car in park, it won't work if the car is in gear, and press the memory button in the door.

Any ideas?

Bob

The ones on my 2013 never go down when the car is in reverse. The only thing that ever happens is if they are not in the correct position when the car is started, they move to that position.

You might try this.
After you set them where you want them, press the memory button on the door for whichever fob # you're using. Some things with the memory option are saved automatically, but mirror position is not. If you save them with the memory button on the door, you shouldn't have to set them again.
Not sure, but I think you have to do this while the engine is running.
