Hi,
87 Vette with the 4 + 3 trans. Anybody know how much fluid the overdrive takes when changing it?

Also, the clear coat is about half gone on my (original) wheels. What is a good way to take the rest of it off without damaging the wheels??

Thanks!

pretty sure its 1 quart or very close to it, theres only one hole on the unit tho so just fill it until its fullor even till a very tiny bit drips out right at the lip, better to have too much fluid then not enough. the ods on the 4+3 are very happy when there filled with fluid

AMERICAN WHEEL & REPAIR Houston TeX
TO finish stripping the wheel you CAN do that at home with a pressure washer and some chemical steriopper. its not bad....clean up is a nightmare./

Thereis a wheel repair place here that charges $129 per wheel non mounted. Zzthey strip, refinish, paint, hide 'em...whatever...they do work well.
