I autocross my '95 Coupe, and have been happy with Kumho V710s in the past. However, they don't offer optimum tire sizes (stock 255/45/17, 285/40/17). I know 275/40/17s fit on the front. Does anybody have experience with 315/35/17s on the rear?

Thanks!
Bill

They will fit just fine except they do stick out a little past the edge of the fender. The 96 model CE's and Grand Sports had a small rear fender flare on them to accomadate the added witdth of the tire. You can buy the flares from Mid America a believe. They also had an 11 inch wide rear wheel. When I bought my 95 it had 275 40's on the font and 315 35's on the back with 9.5 in wheels all round. I have since replaced them with 275 40's all round.

Mine don't stick out they are flush with fender,
Here are some pictures the front and rear veiw show how the tires look. The ZR1 wheels will stick out you need 11" wheel with 58mm setback.
Sorry about that try this one it should work for you.

Actually, only the Grand Sports came with an 11" wheel in the rear with the 315s. Therefore, only the Grand Sports had the rear fender flares from the factory. The Collector Editions all came with 255s in the front and 285s in the rear.

hi there guys,
i used to have my 315/35/17 tyres on my 9.5" saw blade rims and the tyres bolged a little but were ok!
it still stayed with in the rear guards though!
but after trying to search to buy a pair of 11" rear saw blades with no luck i got a second hand set of donor saw blades and took them to a wheel engineering company to get widened!
now the rear saw blade rims measure 11" wide now!
its great, the tyres look much wider now with out the bulge in the walls!
the rims have been welded inside and out and are aligned beautifully!
you would never know they have been modified!
i love the look of the saw blade rims so thats why i went to all the trouble/expeses!
well worth it!
then i got the saw blades powered coated white to complement the nice sexy bright red duco!
thanks
