Paint code on an 84

I'm trying to find the paint code for my 84. I have the sticker and it says Medium Blue Metallic and next to it is 23:. Is 23L the actual paint code or is that GMs code number and I need to look for something different?

I looked on the door pannel and only found info on the tire size and pressure, but nothing on paint. Where else could I find the paint code on the vehicle? I didn't see anything under the hood at all either.

23 is the code or it can also be a 4 digit # on the rpo list under the console.It should read WA and the 4 digits.

When you say under the center console, do you mean under the arm rest between the seats or is there a different location? I don't recall a sticker under the armrest between the seats and there is no sticker under the driver side rear storage lid. The passenger side storage lid has the jacking instructions for changing a flat tire.

The sticker has 23L - Medium Blue Metallic and that is the number I'll give the painter and hopefully he can get the right mixture.
