paint color codes

I have a 1986 vette and I am getting ready to repaint it. I went to buy the paint and they told me to find the paint codes for it it. does anyone here know where I could find these paint codes for my car? it's a 1986 two-tone car. top is silver beige metallic and the bottom is medium brown metallic. thanks guys

All the options are inside the door when the ABS module is located. That's the driver's side hatch compartment lid.

My 85 has the paint codes on the RPO sticker.

Original colour was all white, so the sticker reads: BSE/CLR COAT, then WA-L8554 and U8554.

The 8554 is the shade of white and I'm gueesing the L means lower and the U means ..... you guessed it ... <G>

I have an 86' Coupe and the color code is located on the sticker under the lid of the center console compartment. Since yours is a 2 tone model it should tell you what the upper and lower codes are.
