Where is the tag that tells you what options came with your vette from the factory?

I'm assuming there is one.

Ken

On yours Ken, you can check on the inside of the console lid, or on the insiide of the rear hatch lid (the one behind the driver's side I think). ;)

I22- not a clue (but I is usually interior, ie. 22I)

I'll try to fill in the blanks....

BGR - Bowling Green
D3X - Gear, Speedo Driven
D98 - Accent Stripe
1AZ = 1A2 = SEO Vehicle, Public Service

Hope that helps a little.

IA2

Yeah, I saw that one too but I didn't think they made very many Corvette police cars.

Now I know what the blue lights on top of the vette were for.

Thanks for all the help on the RPO #s.

I think I have a pretty complete picture now.

color info on 84C4

if your car is an early 84 there is no decal type tag with all the option codes, that started in 85 some late 84s. for color info you must look under the hood for a metal tag like all older gm cars it should be on the left or right hood latch. the paint code will be two numbers with a U or L in front of them U is for upper L is for lower. hope this helps. if you have a white decal tag you can get a gm code book on ebay for less than 20.00

I guess mine was a later model.

Mine did have the tag under the rear hatch lid.

Thanks for the info.

Mine too. I have #6720, so I KNOW it was built early, sometime in 1983...I'll have to look on the build sheet to be sure.

paint tag

i have one that is # 206 and the car has alot of stuff that they must have changed. have you ever seen the first type inside door handles? they look like a T. this car has no decal with codes. it is much easier to have the decal.
