Took those side moldings off the vette to restore her to original beauty, only problem was some of the paint came with it.
The weather has finally cooled off here so it’s tolerable to work outdoors again. I touched up the door using a touch up spray gun and original lacquer paint. I only painted where the damage was, I did not paint the whole door, I sanded out all the Imperfections with 320 grit, then primed, wet sanded, primed, wet sanded, primed, painted, 1200 grit to smooth the paint, used 3M rubbing compound, 3M machine glaze, then 3m finish glaze.
What do ya think?
