I just picked up a brand new, never painted set of 8" ralley wheels for my '71. They are black, and I want them the standard flat silver color. Eckler's sells a Ican of "Ralley wheel " paint for $6.99. Also, I could spray them myself. I also had someone suggest powder coating. Anyone been down this road?

I put ZR 1 wheels on my '96 LT 4 and had them powder coated as close to body color as possible and have had nothing but compliments ever since...2000 miles and they are perfect...

Powder coat would be more expensive, but you will never have to worry about paint chipping or rusting or anything. I temporarily painted my wheels, but the plan is to go w/ powdercoat in the future.
