They look pretty sharp, How did you do it? I have a set of stock 84 rims that are in good condition but I want to do something different to them. Let me know Aloha

I kinda do, and kinda like them this way. if I didnt, theres really nothing that can be done at the moment, but It doesnt really matter because of the fact that I'm going to be given the rims off of "Hawaii 5-Lo's" car, (a member of this forum) the 2000 C-5 skinny spoked ones in a few months when he buys his new rims...what ever style they might be.

I don't mean to be like Simon, but they're absolutely dreadfull-
don't paint the 5 spokes black-

taste is relative however-- Enjoy !

I think they look great (although I would have preferred the center caps painted black too)

the question of the day is still How did you do it? was it easy, what kind of paint etc.? the paint looks awesome, and if it isn't that hard to do, it would be a worthwhile post for everyone here:) thanks!

Oh yeah, forgot about that!!!
All that I did was scuff up the rims a little, used mineral spirits (Paint thinner) to clean off all the dirt, grim, and anything else that might exist on the rim's, taped off to where I wanted the silver part of the original color to remain, a painted them.

Oh yeah...kined of paint:
I used "rustolium" metel paint since the rims dont get very hot when driven, they do get hot, but not that hot to burn of or distroy the paint, if your not sure, or worried, us the heat paint in stead if or when you decide to paint your rim's.
I then went with a few coat's of clear, which was a heat brand paint.

I like.. I am also wondering how you did it.. I thinkthe centercaps match well to the black especsially since the outer ring of the wheel is still aliuminum color..

my .02 :)

Actually, I've been wanting to, just having a hard time finding some paint that matches the color of the car, and very expensive to have some made.

You posted right before I had just finished answering that very question.
Look at my response just above your comment for the answer to your question.
Aloha my friend.
