Parking Brake Assembly

HELP!!!!!

Has anybody or does anybody know if you can replace the parking brake assebly unit (shoes and all) on a 1969 corvette without removing the spindles?

If you can does anybody know how? Need help !!!

It can be done but if the springs are not broken or the shoes worn out I would not replace them as it is not easy. I would adjust the shoes with the cable loose and then adjust the cable. The parking brake didn't work very good when new and some replacement shoes are worse than originals. Lyle
