Help! Parking Brake?? %@@#$@$(*&$##$!!!

HELP!! This has NEVER happen before! My freegin' parking break would not release all the way.

I moved forward and back, hoping it would
release, but nothing. Solutions needed desperately. Thankyou.

Is the handle not releasing or are the rear calipers locked?
If the handle is not releasing then check the lever under the cover on park brake is disengaging the locking pawl fully.
Can be levered loose with a big screwdriver while you hold the handle up

Temporary way to release the brake is to hold the button and pull all the way up and then go down.
These get rusty over time, I took mine out and sanded the rust away and then cleaned and sprayed lithium grease on it. That was 2 years ago, now it is acting up again, so I will do it again.
